Global Initiative for Children's Surgery (GICS) – A Welcomed Step Towards Sustainable Global Paediatric Plastic Surgery
The Global Initiative for Children's Surgery (GICS) was established in 2016 to advance the access and quality of safe surgical and anaesthesia care for children in resource-limited settings.1 GICS is a global consortium of providers, institutions and organizations. Over half of its members originate from low and low-middle income countries (LMICs) and span multiple paediatric surgical specialities.1

The Use of Cadaveric Fascia Lata in Single-Stage Implant-Based Breast Reconstruction: A Two-Center Experience
