Abstract The use of new psychoactive substances (NPSs) as a substitute for illegal drugs is increasing rapidly and is a serious threat to public health. 25C-NBF is a newly synthesized phenethylamine-type NPS that acts as a 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HT) receptor agonist, but little is known about its pharmacological effects. Considering that NPSs have caused unexpected harmful effects leading to emergency and even death, scientific confirmation of the potential adverse effects...

Abstract Purpose Isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) mutations lead to formation of the oncometabolite 2-hydroxyglutarate (2-HG), which is elevated in several solid and liquid tumors. Ivosidenib (AG-120) is a targeted, potent, oral inhibitor of the mutant IDH1 protein. We describe detailed pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of ivosidenib in patients with advanced hematologic malignancies with an IDH1 mutation treated in a phase I study (ClinicalTrials.gov...

Abstract Background Glandular odontogenic cyst (GOC) is an extremely rare developmental jawbone cyst, tending to recurrence owing to its aggressive behavior. There has been no reported case of presence of GOC simultaneous with odontoma. We presented a case of GOC associated with odontoma with special reference to the diagnostic imaging and the histopathological features. Case...

Abstract Patients with anosmia exhibit structural and functional brain abnormalities. The present study explored changes in brain white matter (WM) in non-neurodegenerative anosmia using diffusion-tensor-based network analysis. Twenty patients with anosmia and sixteen healthy controls were recruited in the cross-sectional, case–control study. Participants underwent olfactory tests (orthonasal and retronasal), neuropsychological assessment (cognitive function and depressive symptoms)...

We study scattering theory for parameter models of finitely many relativistic -sphere and -sphere plus Coulomb interactions. We provide the mathematical definitions of the Hamiltonians, solve the resolvent equations, and compute the nonrelativistic limits for both models. We obtain new results related to spectral properties and scattering data.
