Replace * in string with random letter and generate all possible variations
I have a string I created and I put *'s in place of characters that are missing. I would like to replace any * with a random letter, but loop until every variation is printed into a file. Have most of it done, since I am still learning I am not sure how to loop to create all possible variations. I get how to replace a char in a string. Any help is appreciated!! submitted by /u/openshell [link] [comments]

Profile of Educational Technology Use by Medical Students and Evaluation of a New Mobile Application Designed for the Study of Human Physiology
Abstract Nowadays, smartphones represent an invaluable tool to access educational material; however, the available information is not always accurate or evidence-based. Therefore, we aimed to evaluate the use of technology by medical students and assess the effect of a newly developed mobile app for the study of human physiology. We used a standardised questionnaire to assess the profile of educational technology use, from which a mobile app (PhysioQuiz) was developed. The effectiveness...

The Texture of Rare and Common Lesions in Soemmerring and Baillie
AbstractThe publications on morbid anatomy by Matthew Baillie and Samuel Thomas Soemmerring put pathological preparations and images center stage. A comparison between their works highlights major shifts from exceptional to more representative cases and significant differences in the art of representation. Initially Baillie provided careful descriptions of internal postmortem lesions (1793). Then Soemmerring’s prompt German translation added a wealth of references to the literature and specifically...

Rethinking Opioid Dose Tapering, Prescription Opioid Dependence, and Indications for Buprenorphine
The expanded use of opioids for chronic pain has created a population of patients prescribed long-term opioid therapy at doses that are often above those recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Many patients may benefit from tapering to lower, safer opioid doses. This commentary argues that successful opioid tapering requires implementing and incentivizing tapering protocols, recognizing prescription opioid dependence as a distinct clinical condition necessitating treatment,...
