Hemodynamic characteristics associated with thinner regions of intracranial aneurysm wall
Cerebral aneurysm is a kind of devastating cerebrovascular disease characterized by pathological enlargement of local cerebral arteries [1,2]. Many risk factors have been demonstrated to be involved in the initiation and progression of cerebral aneurysms, but the exact pathophysiological mechanisms underlying aneurysm formation and rupture remain to be elucidated [3,4].
