AUMENTO DA PREVALÊNCIA DE ANGIODISPLASIAS NA ENTEROSCOPIA POR VIDEOCAPSULA EM DOENTES EM HEMODIALISE
Atualmente, a enteroscopia por video-cápsula (EVC) assume-se definitivamente como o exame de primeira linha para estudo do intestino delgado (ID) na hemorragia digestiva obscura (HDO). Este estudo corrobora a elevada prevalência de angiectasias no ID em doentes com HDO em hemodiálise, sendo que a hemodiálise demonstrou ser um factor de risco independente para a sua ocorrência.
