Atlanto-occipital ligament calcification: a novel imaging finding in pediatric rotational vertebral artery occlusion
Abstract We describe a 2-year-old girl with bow hunter syndrome complicated by vertebral artery dissection and multiple ischemic infarcts. Pediatric bow hunter syndrome is a rare and likely under-recognized disorder. Interestingly, our patient had atlanto-occipital ligament calcification on CT scan, an imaging finding that has not been reported in association with bow hunter syndrome and one that might help increase recognition of this dynamic disorder of the posterior circulation.

Inhibition of tissue‐nonspecific alkaline phosphatase protects against medial arterial calcification and improved survival probability in the CKD‐MBD mouse model
Abstract Medial arterial calcification (MAC) is a major complication of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and an indicator of poor prognosis. Aortic overexpression of tissue‐nonspecific alkaline phosphatase (TNAP) accelerates MAC formation. The present study aimed to assess whether a TNAP inhibitor, SBI‐425, protects against MAC and improves survival probability in a CKD‐ mineral and bone disorder (MBD) mouse model. CKD‐MBD mice were divided in three groups: vehicle, SBI‐10, and SBI‐30. They were fed...

Slower than normal walking speeds involve a pattern shift in joint and temporal coordination contributions
Abstract Kinematic and spatiotemporal gait parameters are known to scale with gait speed, though inter-joint coordination during swing remains consistent, at least across comfortable speeds. We assessed 17 healthy adults walking overground at their self-selected speed and multiple, progressively slower speeds. We collected lower extremity...

From Concept to Crystals via Prediction: Multi‐Component Organic Cage Pots by Social Self‐Sorting
We describe the a priori computational prediction and realization of multi‐component cage pots, starting with molecular predictions based on candidate precursors through to crystal structure prediction and synthesis using robotic screening. The molecules were formed by the social self‐sorting of a tri‐topic aldehyde with both a tri‐topic amine and di‐topic amine, without using orthogonal reactivity or precursors of the same topicity. Crystal structure prediction suggested a rich polymorphic landscape,...
