Topical zinc oxide: an effective treatment option for erosive pustular dermatosis of the leg
Abstract Erosive pustular dermatosis of the leg (EPDL) is a rare inflammatory cutaneous disease characterized by non‐follicular sterile pustules, erosions and crusts on an erythematous background.1 EPDL prefers the middle third of the leg and typically affects elderly patients. Symptoms consist of pain, itch and/or sting. Lesions show a chronic progression and tend to relapses in the absence of a correct management. This article is protected by copyright.
