A medical student’s reflection on intercalation, This article is a reflection inspired by my experience intercalating over the past academic year. While the benefits of obtaining an additional degree are widely acknowledged in terms of career progression, medical students remain hesitant when considering intercalation. This article aims to highlight the benefits of intercalation within academic and nonacademic spheres and shed insight into some aspects not commonly recognized.
