Predictors of respiratory decline following stereotactic ablative radiotherapy to multiple lung tumors

The safety and efficacy of stereotactic ablative radiation therapy (SABR) to multiple lung tumors remains unclear. We retrospectively reviewed a total of 86 patients treated with SABR to 203 lung tumors. We observed excellent local control and low rates of conventional metrics of toxicity, but there was a high rate of respiratory decline after treatment that warrants further study.
